Why Investing in Art

Here’s a list of names: Pope Giulio II, Federico II di Svevia, Cosimo De’Medici, Gaio Cilnio Mecenate, Publio Elio Traiano Adriano.

They’re eminent personalities from different historical periods: some lived during the Middle Ages Centuries, others under the Ancient Roman Empire.

What do they have in common? Well, yes, they all lived in different regions that today we identify as Italy. But other than that?

Easy: they invested their money in the most beautiful artworks of human history.

Giulio II was the one who called and paid Michelangelo Buonarroti to paint the ceiling inside the Cappella Sistina, a beautiful masterpiece that today is visited by millions of tourists every year.

Federico II, through his investments in Palermo, improved the city and built the basis of Italian literature.

Cosimo De’ Medici was the first investor who allowed Botticelli to design and build the majestic dome of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence.

The list could go on and on, and I wrote here only a few examples of people in history who decided to invest their money in art, architecture, literature, and, in general, in culture. When you think about it, without these personalities, today, we couldn’t have seen pieces of art like the Colosseum.

But have you ever wondered why they spent their money on art and culture?

Well, that’s because the more they spent, the more they gained prestige, fame, and, of course, income. They realized that the best way to earn people’s trust was through investments that every citizen could concretely see.

From this simple concept, Resident Artist designed a new idea for Marketing.

It’s simple: Art attracts people in different ways. On one hand, you can create a community of artists that, through their unique languages, can give a new visibility to your company; on the other hand, you can attract new potential customers fascinated by these innovative campaigns that will help you stand out from the crowd.

Resident Artist offers you the possibility to become a partner for a year and own the properties of all the artworks created. You can be a modern patron, sponsoring artists free to express their art.

There’s also an added value: we don’t live in the past. As you can see in the previous article, Resident Artist uses the newest technologies to transform all art projects into spendable assets for your marketing strategies.

How? Through NFTs.

There are several options in our mind to boost your company's promotion through artistic NFTs. You can use them to create unique events, or we can design a specific collection sponsoring your company.
